It's been such a shame to witness the demise of Clarence Dock. When I first moved to Leeds (quite close to the dock), I thought 'Great! There's lots of cool shops at Clarence Dock, how convenient'...But it seems that every month another business goes bust at the dock.
Much of the office space is deserted.
The very promising Rock Couture was one of the first stores to give it up many months ago. It was a huge loss for Leeds fashinistas and bargain hunters alike. Its closure was closely followed by the withdrawal of Starbucks (not such a shame) and now G Star Raw. And I'm sure the others aren't far behind.
Disappointment.
